Evaluating Learning Impact Certificate

Use this program to determine the impact of learning programs and develop and implement an evaluation strategy for any organization. You will receive a solid foundation in all aspects of the measurement and evaluation of learning and performance solutions, including making the shift from activity- to results- based WLP programs, the basics of evaluation design, Kirkpatrick’s Levels 1–4, a brief introduction to ROI, communicating results, and practical tips and considerations for truly making evaluation work.

The Evaluating Learning Impact Certificate will take place on May 03-05, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Identify stakeholder expectations and determine organizational readiness for measurement and evaluation.
  • Develop detailed evaluation plans for specific programs and gain buy-in for the plans within the organization.
  • Select effective, valid, and reliable data collection instruments to measure participant reaction/satisfaction, learning, application, and business impact.
  • Analyze and interpret data to determine the impact of individual learning and performance solutions.
  • Report evaluation data in a compelling and easily understood way.
  • Leverage findings to increase effectiveness and provide recommendations for change.

Facilitator Information

Patti PhillipsPatti Phillps – Patti has focused on the implementation of ROI evaluation for the past seven years. She assisted in building an international evaluation consulting business, helped launch the ROI Network, and developed and managed international partnerships with organizations interested in implementing the ROI methodology. Prior to her involvement with ROI, she worked 13 years in the electric utility industry. As the manager of market research and planning and marketing administration, Phillips helped launched a number of initiatives, including Marketing University, a unique learning environment for new sales representatives.
