Immersive Training: Reaching Flow

Flow is described as the ability to engage with a satisfying state of deep involvement and absorption when experiencing challenging activities. However, little is known about the neurologic foundations of flow or how these can be harnessed to improve the return on investment of training programs. Join this session to examine new findings in neuroscience and the psychology of effective training.

  • Describe the two key attributes of immersion (attention and emotional resonance).
  • Connect immersion to the experience of flow.
  • Apply the neuroscience principles of immersion to training and coaching.
