Fundamentals of Performance Consulting

Chris Adams

In your organization, do managers often come to you having already determined that a learning solution is needed for a particular business problem? In this workshop, you’ll practice consulting skills to reframe a learning solution request into a discussion of the business and performance results the client is seeking. Templates and tools are included.

  • Use a strategic mental model to align four organizational needs: business, performance, organizational, and individual.
  • Analyze clients’ requests using should-is-cause logic to determine what is known and unknown about a specific situation.
  • Ask powerful questions to reframe tactical requests for learning solutions into strategic discussions of desired results.

Speaker: Chris Adams, Handshaw

Date and Time: August 28, 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
