TD For Good

TD For Good

In the spirit of our ATD Talent Development for Good Award, join us to celebrate and recognize organizations that leveraged talent development to make significant contributions to improve the lives of others, changed an industry or community for the better, or served society in a powerful way.

Our TD for Good stations will provide community service opportunities for all ATD22 attendees to give back to others and continue to spread the message of TD for Good.

Community Service projects may include:

  • Paintfest for the Foundation for Hospital Art: artistic talent not required, simply follow colored dots to paint in pre-drawn designs. This networking and relationship-building opportunity gives you a fantastic break in your day while providing a fun and rewarding experience. The completed paintings are donated to hospitals around the world!
  • Letters Against Isolation: Senior loneliness is a well-documented issue and has effects not only on seniors’ mental health but on their physical health. Two Illinois teens took the COVID crises as an opportunity to spread some joy and write handwritten letters to residents of assisted living facilities and care homes. You’ve got the fun job of writing as many letters as you would like to! You can write about whatever you would like, but remember that these letters will be brightening days; try to make them cheerful, and be creative!
  • School Snack Kits for Granite Education Foundation: The Foundation and its community partners work together to provide support for students, teachers and schools through a variety of programs. In very specific terms, Granite Education Foundation (GEF) provides food beyond what is provided by the school lunch program, new clothing, public transportation, and other forms of assistance to impoverished students so they can attend school ready to learn. ATD attendees assembled snack kits to help provide nutritional assistance to children and families through in-school food pantries throughout the District.
