Is CE Credit available for participating in the conference (ATD CI, HRCI, SHRM, etc.)?

ATD23 participants are eligible CE hours with the ATD Certification Institute, HRCI and SHRM. Attendees must complete an evaluation for each session attended in San Diego, May 21-24, and sessions watched on-demand through the virtual platform between May 8 - August 25, 2023, to receive credit for the session on the ATD23 CE transcript. You will complete your session surveys in the mobile app (more details to come in early May). By May 29, you will receive an email with a link to the session evaluation website to download and/or print the ATD23 CE transcript and certificate of attendance for use in self-report earned continuing education credits (CEs) for certification or re-certification with each credentialing body.

You will need to complete a session survey for each individual session for it to appear on your CE transcript.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes, ATD23 has a comprehensive mobile application to help you navigate the onsite experience. It will be available in early May.

Can I bring a guest to any of the events?

I’m traveling from another country. Are there opportunities to connect with people from my country?

Yes, the ATD International Conference is typically attended by people from over 80 countries. We offer unique opportunities for our global audience to connect through various networking events and in our Global Village. You can also consider joining or organizing an international delegation to further enhance your experience.

Why are there VIP add-ons?

ATD23 will deliver a really great experience for you. However, we recognize there are some aspects of events that are less convenient than others. So, similar to your AMC Stubbs card or the Disney Genie+ at Disney World, our VIP add-ons are designed to enhance your experience and provide some additional comfort and convenience for you.

By adding on the VIP experience at ATD23 in San Diego you'll lock-in some certainty – like guaranteeing your seat in the general session room, access to the best housing options, a ticket to Networking Night, and special access to a VIP Lounge with dedicated networking events.

Are meals included? What if I have dietary restrictions?

ATD will provide lunch daily (Monday-Wednesday) in the EXPO. For 2023 we are working to provide a variety of meal options to match dietary needs. If you have specific restrictions or need special meal accommodations, please reach out to ATD Customer Care to have them update your account record, so we can plan accordingly. A team member will be in touch closer to the program to detail options.

Attendees who select the “VIP Add-On” will have access to a dedicated room block in the closest hotel properties.

I was contacted by a company about booking a hotel room. Is this legitimate?

ATD uses MCI USA Housing for our hotel reservations. MCI USA Housing does not cold call, so if you receive a phone call, we guarantee it is not an authorized vendor acting on behalf of the conference.

Does ATD23 provide any travel discounts?

ATD has partnered with several airlines and car rental companies to offer reduced rates on airline tickets and car rentals. You can find more information on the Hotel and Travel page.

What are the technical requirements?

We will be utilizing a third-party platform for the conference and will share specific details as soon as possible. We strive to ensure compatibility for as many people as possible across desktop and mobile devices. Many of the platforms utilize Vimeo or YouTube for stream feeds and Zoom or similar technology for the face-to-face components such as networking or workshops.

Are there options for those with auditory disabilities?

Yes, ATD strives to be as inclusive as possible. Reach out to Customer Care (customercare@td.org) to let them know about your needs, and a member of the team will be in touch closer to the event to help with captioning.

Can I network during ATD23 Virtual?

Yes, one of the best parts about attending an ATD conference has always been the lasting relationships you build with the people with whom you meet and learn from. Once you’ve logged in, we recommend that you set-up your profile including adding your photo, bio, Twitter and LinkedIn handles, and tags. Customizing your profile will make it easier for people with similar roles and interests to connect with you.

You can also participate in one of our many Conversation Starters or Community Conversations for some facilitated opportunities to meet and discuss key topics with your industry peers. Those sessions are noted in the agenda by time zone on the Virtual Experience page.
