Gaby Alvarez-Pollack is a learning and development expert and a professional coach focusing on strategic talent management, behavioral assessments, and organizational design. For more than 20 years, her passion for learning, growth, and strategy has helped individuals, teams, and organizations succeed by finding the perfect combination of personal meaning and business results.

Gaby creates and delivers transformational learning experiences focused on bringing individual talents and strengths to life, improving emotional intelligence, and opening paths of continuous learning and growth to support organizational goals and business strategy.

She is a Certified Master Coach, a Gallup Strengths, Emotional Intelligence, and DiSC® Certified Instructor and Coach and has worked with 100s of leaders and teams across various industries.

Gaby brings insight to her work rooted in positive psychology and the neuroscience of growth mindset. Gaby is the founder and chief learning officer at GS&L Consulting, holds an MBA, the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTP), and is PCC accredited.

In the classroom of life, she spends her time at the golf course, reading a good book, and enjoying a nice glass of wine. Gaby calls San Diego and Mexico City her home, where she lives and learns with her husband Steve and their 10-year-old, Lucas.

 

Michele Beisler

Michele Beisler 

Michele Beisler is a seasoned leadership coach dedicated to nurturing both emerging and established leaders in cultivating their presence and forging meaningful connections to develop aligned and effective teams. Michele has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering and has been a certified coach since 2004 as well as an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Associate Certified Coach (ACC) since 2015. She has also been studying and teaching self-development trainings since 1998.

 

Chuck Blohowiak

Chuck Blohowiak, PCC

Chuck Blohowiak is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited life coach specializing in business coaching, leadership coaching, and executive coaching.

Businesspeople from all levels of organizations have worked with Chuck to identify and leverage their strengths, weaknesses, and blind spots and to develop skills for future roles. Chuck builds a relationship of trust where leaders can be honest with themselves. Through discussion, observation, psychological instruments, and interviews, these leaders get a realistic sense of their skills and behaviors.

 

Lakisha Davis Flagg

Dr. Lakisha Davis Flagg

Dr. Lakisha Davis Flagg, DrPH, MS, MPH, BSN, RN-BC, CCMP, ACC, is a retired U.S. Army Nurse Corps officer, ICF-certified executive coach, and veteran’s advocate with 30 years of healthcare experience. Her expertise includes systems leadership, workforce development, and change management. While in uniform, she served in a wide range of roles including director of preventive medicine at Keller ACH - West Point Military Academy, director of public health services at Brooke Army Medical Center, executive officer for the U.S. Army Medical Corps Chief, and the U.S. Army Public Health Command’s representative for the CDC’s Community Preventive Services Task Force, Community Guide. 

Upon transition to the civilian sector, Lakisha served as the strategy, policy, and communications program manager for the Louisiana Department of Health’s Bureau of Family Health. She has been an Executive Leader Coach since 2020 and currently works in support of the Veteran’s Health Administration’s Office of Quality & Safety. She also serves as the board Vice President for Bastion Community of Resilience, New Orleans—an intentional community for veterans with traumatic brain injuries. In her spare time, Lakisha loves to travel and discover new music with her daughter, Taylor.

Mike is an ACC credentialed coach via the International Coach Federation (ICF), the premier organization for professionally trained coaches. He voluntarily hosts a 700+ member Career & Executive Coach professional development community and has also served as a judge for the ICF International PRISM Award that recognizes organizations globally with the best coaching cultures. A certified Canfield Success Principles Trainer, he also holds numerous certifications and experience in the use of a broad range of diagnostic assessment tools that help individuals and teams uncover blind spots and identify their growth needs. In addition to being a devoted dad of a bright college sophomore, Jonas, Mike enjoys hiking, camping, photography, running, and volunteering in his community. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and having spent most of his professional career in Southern California, he recently traveled the U.S. and Canada on an epic six month “vagabond adventure” while working remotely. He has recently settled in Oceanside.

 

Angelica Alexander Defillo

Angelica Alexander Defillo

Angelica Alexander Defillo is a life coach and leadership consultant with nearly 30 years of human resources experience supporting senior- and executive-level corporate initiatives and HR expertise in the areas of leader and employee development, diversity and culture improvement, performance management, and leading change.

Her personal journey to professional coaching began in 2014 while serving in a volunteer role as president of a nonprofit where she gained leadership experience, connection, and purposeful reach beyond the traditional scope of HR work. Participation in advocacy for social justice, diversity, equality, inclusion, and the national legislative agenda on issues affecting underserved and marginalized communities heightened her desire to expand her own personal and professional reach in a deliberate and purposeful way.

Seed of F. A. I. T. H. became her metaphor and business acronym for being in service to others toward uplift in personal fulfillment, abundance, inspiration, triumph, and healing. Her life coaching practice exists for clients seeking self-actualization, purpose-driven alignment, personal development, and growth.

Clients can expect solutions-oriented support, increased awareness, and strategies for sustainable results. Legacy, impact, purpose, and personal growth are common themes of clients she helps support.

She has provided a range of services over the years, including one-on-one coaching, team/group coaching, educational workshops, and leadership consulting. She is also licensed to administer Energy Leadership Index (ELI) assessments and debriefs, Positive Intelligence (PQ) Saboteur assessments, Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) assessments and debriefs, and a host of other tools. She especially enjoys working with organizations committed to advancing the cause of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in our global society. She resides in New Orleans, Louisiana, in close connection to family and friends. She enjoys travel, reading, journaling, and genealogy research.

Notably, Josh developed an innovative adult education curriculum on racial literacy, showcasing his dedication to fostering positive change and advancing social causes.

Josh’s educational background includes a BA from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He has further honed his skills through a certificate in Leadership in Systems Change from the Harvard Kennedy School and a coaching certification from Rice University. With an Associate Coach Certification from the International Coaching Federation, Josh possesses expertise in various tools and assessments, including Everything DiSC, Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team, EQi-2.0/360, and Immunity to Change.

Sorby Grant

Sorbrique “Sorby” Grant

When Sorbrique “Sorby” Grant reached her moment of clarity, she had already proven herself to be a professional problem-solver. Highly successful at turning around schools with significant challenges and empowering educators, she realized her knowledge and skills would be a powerful aid to emerging leaders who were largely unsupported, including those heading nonprofits or who are women or people of color.

Sorby currently serves as the president and CEO at Climb Hire, which prepares working adults for entry-level jobs in tech. She also operates her own practice—Farther Together—focusing on strategic planning, retreats, coaching, and consulting for individuals, nonprofits, and small businesses.

Before Climb Hire, Sorby was the chief program officer at the Center for Resilience. She has served as head of school for KIPP Public Charter Schools, principal at Achievement First Public Charter Schools, and managing director of Program for Citizen Schools. She began her professional journey with Teach for America, first as an educator, then as a bilingual content curator and Summer Institute Director.

Sorby earned her master’s degree in public policy and urban planning from Harvard and her master’s in Elementary Education and Teaching from Pace University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in government and American studies from Cornell University. She is a Certified Executive & Leadership Coach and a member of the International Coaching Federation.

 

Stacy Glynn LaMorte

Stacy Glynn LaMorte, ACC, CMC, PCAC

Stacy Glynn LaMorte, ACC, CMC, PCAC, is an ICF Certified ADHD Life Coach.  While she is relatively new to being a professional life coach, she has been helping to develop people for more than 30 years. As a CA-credentialed classroom teacher, Certified Personal Trainer, and mother of three, she has been evaluating readiness for change and helping people to develop into the best versions of themselves for more than three decades. She particularly loves helping adults with ADHD get systems in place that make their lives run more smoothly and to quiet the inner critic who loves nothing more than to sabotage those systems. This is her first ATD conference, but she is sure it won’t be her last, as she loves to surround herself with like-minded people who have a passion for learning and growing.

Tara Quinn, PCC, CPCC, CDC, is an experienced certified professional coach, facilitator, and speaker with a passion for empowering her clients to transform their lives and careers through science-based wellness practices and professional development work.
